Stay with the cog, but pick trails that have minimal climbing. As you get stronger go steeper. If you start out with gearing too low you'll miss the valuable lessons on momentum and body movement for climbing. Otherwise you might end up being just a gearie with one gear.

Very sweet Rig.
I am very interested about the new offset with the Fox fork and the G2. Some feedback after some riding would be cool. My Rig has the 32x20. Even the mutant twins of power on my team use the 20 in the rear, a switch would be advisable. Much like DeeZee, after I got my 29er last year, the 9.8, Flux, M4, they're all gone. Now there are 2 Paragon 29ers and a Rig in their stead. Next thing you know you'll be looking at Stans Wheels and stuff. glty and happy trails. paz afuera |
