shoot....i will be racing xterra nationals that weekend.

i am free any weekend in october if someone wants to set something up. i have ridden damn near everything out there...even the rabbit trails, lol.

i get out there sometimes during the week as well......i will be out tomorrow around 4:30 or so. let me know, it is seriously 15 mins from home and 10 from work for me to get over there.

as for the course, they usually mark it with those lil landscaping flags about a week before the event. the last race, i went a pre-rode the day before.....even rode the chutes and everything with no resistance. i didn't race though.....the organizers were probably wondering who was banging out a bunch of laps the day before the race though.

Got off the horn with Jason this morning and it is looking good. They are putting the finishing touches on the course and should have the updated map and written directions up on his race site by the end of the weekend

Like Mike had said, these races have a great vibe to them and are extremely family-friendly! His series have become my favorite series in socal, barely beating Rim Nordic because they have trees, and helping support the "little guy" is what I like!

Once he gets some rides set up I say lets join them and see what its like to go down the dam climb...that is going to be strange!

Pardon my ignorance, but can a whole team go out and do laps all at the same time, or is it more like a relay where each team only has one rider out on the course at a time?

they got it arse backwards out there....bummer.

i was hoping they wouldn't switch it around.

i guess they are running out of variations....this, unfortunately, is one of my least favorites.

maybe i will wait until january, when they have it going counter-clockwise again (hopefully).

it is a relay....or you all can enter the solo class, ride a few, kick back and ride a few more.

Yeah, you go out by yourself and the next guy on your team goes out when you come in. Every team member must complete at least one lap for the team to finish, but other than that it doesn't matter if one guy does all the laps and the others just do one...

Looks like at least me and you are. If we can score two more people we will have it made, three more would be nice too. As it stands, if we are going to have a rider out at all times (we dont have to) we are going to be hurting lol. Please, I know some of you are out there making excuses in your heads about why you can't do this because you are scared/ dont want to get embarrassed, step up, we need you! It's going to be realllly fun. No pressure! Bikes all day! CHANCES TO WIN COOL PRIZES AT THE RAFFLE! Lets race.

You guys may want to start a new thread with a different title.

"12 hour race - need 2-3 team members for FUN/no pressure". Not sure everyone is still reading this thread?
