Default replacements for Giro Retention system

my retention system broke on my Giro Pneumo Helmet, was wondering if there was a source of getting a new one:

the problem is circled in red

that little tab has stopped clicking and retaining my large head. The helmet has never felt a rock so it seems a waste to just chuck it.

Take it into a Giro dealer. They may be able to get a new one for you.

Yeah, I've heard that Giro is really good about replacement parts and stuff. If your dealer doesn't work with you, you might even want to try contacting them directly to see what your options are.

I contacted them directly and they shipped me the replacement parts free of charge.

I had my LBS order one for my E2. Took a week or so and cost all of ten bucks.

They actually have a tackle box looking setup with all the Giro parts in it, but they were out of stock for the retention system at the time and Giro was going through some admin changes and so they hadn't kept up stock recently.

I hope your serial number is legible. Mine was almost gone. You should still be able to ID it somehow.
