Just curious - I've never moved to goggles from my normal trail
sunglasses, even for Mammoth with a full face, just because I'm horribly nearsighted. Do those that are 2-4 times a year shuttle riders spring for prescription goggle lenses (who even makes them?), or wear contacts (never been there - nearsighted suites my normal work fine), or what? Until I decide to spring for Lasik or something, I suppose I'm doomed to occasional dust in the eyes ... --Matt |

I'm considering ordering some pre-scription sunglasses from them. Never tried them yet though. Carl |

If I remember correctly I think you can get them from Oakley through your eye DR. I've thought about it often but then I look at the condition of my current load of goggles and think better of it.
If you want I can ask Mark from Rockgardn what he can do and if the cost is rediculous. Also here's a guy that makes RX lenses for Bolle goggles. Never used them myself. http://www.rxskigoggles.com/ Mott |

Although I don't believe Oakley offers prescription goggles, they do offer goggles that allow you to wear your glasses underneath (or behind?) them. They're basically the same, except the frames are deeper. Other than contacts, this is what most people who wear glasses use, from what I've seen.

I have to take them apart every couple weeks and clean them out real well though. Dirt finds its way into everything...
