Default Mammoth... Rack... Help...

I am writing this thread on behalf of (2) friends who ride with us at The Fullurton Loop. May or may not know their names!

They were planning on going up to Mammoth with us September 21-23rd.

Mammoth Mountain Closing weekend!!

The truck they were planning on driving.... ain't gonna make the trip!! That's all I am going to say!

1) Does anyone have room for (2) bikes on their racks?

2) Would anyone be willing to "LEND" my friends a (2" receiver) TWO bike carrier for the weekend? It would be easiest for them to drive themselves! If the rack were to get damaged in anyway (one dent)--- I WILL PERSONALLY BUY YOU A NEW ONE!

The reasons I am asking- they took time off... they really want to go... not sure if they will be able to make the trip next year... pretty sure they have never been!

I could take at least 1, only QR fork mount, I can take both at a push if I move the racks around bit.

i too have a 3 bike carrier (2 in mount) that they could borrow. It's a cheap Perf. brand but it will work.

Dino,
If you own a 20 mm fork, it's always handy to have a Fork Up in your gear bag. http://www.hurricanecomponents.com/product.php?id=1

I've got a Hollywood 4-bike rack you can use. It fits a 2" hitch, and bikes are mounted via the frame versus the tire. I plan on selling it, but until then, any friend of Dino can use it.

Thanks for the offers everyone! We have procured a rack for them to use!

Lee- Great minds think alike! I own the Fork Up in your picture! Keep it in my bag... just in case some one may need it!

Project D- I owe you one! Tell Mrs. Double D that I said hello!
