Default Some pics from the 24 Worlds at Laguna Seca

Louise from Sho-Air gets a flying start. Her folks were over from Sweden to spur her on.

Matt (OC Rider) from Sho-Air starts on his way to a great 2nd place in his category

Bernice (Sho-Air) joins the throng heading onto lap 1. Temps approaching high 90's

Everyone else grabbing their machinery after the Le Mans start

The Elite heading into the Laguna Seca hills

Tinker comes smoking in for a mouthful of pasta and a change of lenses

Nice to see a British flag out there - they had a ton of Sierra on the go, ah just like old times!

Damon M from Geoladders

The pit is a cold and lonely place at 2am

Tinker relaxs after an exciting win - he tailed the leader until 22hrs in then dusted him with 2 extremely rapid laps. Note - his race bike was 19.7lbs!

Tinker begged me not to compete against him, he fears my cybernetic implants.

No but here's the 2008 race bike - flexi carbon rear end with no lower bearing, not as light as Tinkers hard tail race bike that he rode at the weekend but not far off.
19.7lbs bike featured stans rotors, rims, Magura SL calipers, 2 custom chain rings, skinny as hell tyres etc etc. Nice.

I met Damon at the shop I work at about a week ago, and he was talking to me about endurance racing and giving me some tips. He's a really nice guy. I hope he did well!
