So what's your dream trail bike and build?? If money were no object, what frame would you have and how would you spec it?? Since there's so many different types of bikes, let's start with an all around trail build.

Pretty much nailed it.
Might change the cranks to Truvativ or Raceface

I would have to agree with Mr. Freak- You pretty much nailed it!
The frame- RFX? My dream is a 6 Point with (the easiest way to explain it) a rear shock that increases travel to 7".Shifters? SRAM XO Twisters ![]() Luckily, I already have most of the parts on my current bike. All I need to do is open my wallet for the frame! Easier said than done! ![]() ![]()

I pretty much have my dream trail bike, exactly as is. ONLY items that would not meet the "dream criteria" are the cranks (I have Hone 2-rings, which I love so I honestly could care less) and rear der (X7, which I love so again, I dont care cuz they work as well as my X0s of past). X0s are like carbon parts, just not worth it IMHO.
Having said that, my new trail bike supplement (for less chunky riding) would be a FS 29er and depending on what is meant by "trail bike", could easily be a decked out Sultan. |

Oops. I had different wheels at first and then changed my mind--forgot to change the hubs too. Thanks. I am in the process of finding out how much an RFX frame will cost me. It wont have the "dream" spec that I listed above, but it will still be pretty darn good. If I can swing the frame, it'll be done in a few weeks.

This Intense 6.6 is my ultimate trail bike (excusing the singlespeed, dirt jumping bike, and this 6.6's bro the 5.5).
