Pretty much nailed it.

Might change the cranks to Truvativ or Raceface

I would have to agree with Mr. Freak- You pretty much nailed it!

The frame- RFX? My dream is a 6 Point with (the easiest way to explain it) a rear shock that increases travel to 7".

Shifters? SRAM XO Twisters

Luckily, I already have most of the parts on my current bike. All I need to do is open my wallet for the frame! Easier said than done!

I pretty much have my dream trail bike, exactly as is. ONLY items that would not meet the "dream criteria" are the cranks (I have Hone 2-rings, which I love so I honestly could care less) and rear der (X7, which I love so again, I dont care cuz they work as well as my X0s of past). X0s are like carbon parts, just not worth it IMHO.

Having said that, my new trail bike supplement (for less chunky riding) would be a FS 29er and depending on what is meant by "trail bike", could easily be a decked out Sultan.

Pretty close to my 2007 RFX build. Only differences are:

2006 Z1 Light Fork
2004 Hayes Mags
New RP 23
Sram 9 shifters
Answer 2 inch riser downhill bars
Middleburn cranks (two ring 20/32/bash) with Blackspire stinger
King rear hub
440 DT Swiss front hub
Mavis 721s
XT rear cassette
XTR front derailuer

Rest the same. Frame shipped from manufacture Friday, Turner should have it this week. Question is raw frame or wait two weeks for it to be painted? I get to pick color! Right now it is to be painted Iron Glimmer.

You'd stay with a Heckler frame and X9 over X0??

Oops. I had different wheels at first and then changed my mind--forgot to change the hubs too. Thanks.

I am in the process of finding out how much an RFX frame will cost me. It wont have the "dream" spec that I listed above, but it will still be pretty darn good. If I can swing the frame, it'll be done in a few weeks.

seem kinda down on I9 stuff. They said they have had a few warranty issues.

I would go with Hadley, DT Swiss or Hope hubs with Stan's rims

I have a really nice spec on my Reign, I'm just looking to upgrade the frame. Thanks anyway.
