Not sure if I can make the trip although it sounds sweet. Check out my site for some cool pics and ride guides for Moab.

Also, the B&B we stayed at in Moab was a bit pricey but well worth it. It was great to roll out of bed and have a huge breakfast ready and waiting for us. That info is on the site too.

Thumbs up

I'm updating my vacation schedule for the rest of 2007. I plugged this in for 2008. The Wife said it would be good for me to go. Plus this would be the longest trip I ever planned on taking before possibly flaking out.

Sorry guys.. I'm moving back to Boston in January. Although this Moab trip will be devoid of witty banter and artfully played sarcastic quips due to my absence, it should still be a good time .

I am planing on reserving a cabin at Canyonlands RV/Campground in the next couple days. They are nice cabins and only run $39 a night for 2 people. They actually sleep 4 and each additional person is only around $10. My bud Jeremy and I are going in on one and if anyone is interested in a top bunk (dual bunkbeds) let me know. Sharing a site/cabin is a good way to keep the cost down.

I stay at Canyonlands because it's inexpensive and the facilities are nice. I'm sure there are other places just as nice, but I just go for what I know.

$39/night is nuts.

If anyone wants to hook up for a cabin, let me know.

Pac, can you post up the site or phone # to make reservations?

Default Another Moab trip...Oct 25-28, 2007...

Duuuuuude....that sounds like so much fun! Unfortunately, spring break is earlier this year (yeah, I know, no pity for being a teacher). We are going this Oct 25-28 though and still have 1-2 spaces left in the condo. With 6 people, works out to $50 for two nights. LMK if anyone is interested.

EvilChocula...can you do this one??? You at least have to ride Moab before you return to the Nor'easters

I'm going to reserve a cabin next Friday. If anyone else is interested in reserving now, let me know. That way when we call, we can arrange to get cabins next to each other.

Just an FYI for whoever is planning on/thinking about going--I called Canyonlands RV/Campground today to reserve a cabin (I was going to do it next week, but had a strange thought that I had better do it now). They only had 2 cabins left for the time period we are going. I reserved them both for the me, BJammin, Sladnas and my buddy J.

If you are thinking about going, I highly recommend making arangements/reservations now. It seems like it's going to be a busy few weeks there. You can always cancel later and get your money back if you decide not to go.

We were all going to just go 2 people per cabin, but they can sleep 4. It'd be a little tight, but definitely doable. If you want to room with us and split the cost, let me know as I will need to update the reservation.
