Default The LOOP, The LOOP, The Loop is on FIRE!!!

The hubby, Adam and I just got back from running some errands, drove up Gilbert and found the hills at the corner of Gilbert and Castlewood in flames. Lots of fire apparatus on scene and the OC fire auth. chopper making drops. No people or property seemed to be in danger from what we could see.

Default Loop Nazi!

Maybe the Loop Nazi (AKA Steven Jackson) had some thing to do with it? Since he can't keep us off it, maybe he's resorted to this?

If fire keeps you off the loop, you have issues.

I say we leave a six pack of Budweiser at the spot where the booby-traps (i.e. holes) seem to re-appear every week.

1) Leave them as a peace offering
2) Leave them with an added surprise attached!

I know it's serious, but the thread title made me LOL

I just rode El Prieto, and there were a bunch of helicopters flying around nearby, not sure what was going on though. I didn't see a fire (or smoke) of any kind.

Strange day though! I love the weather.

I still say we bury a hand grenade with the pin out. The dirt should keep the spoon on.

We'll know we got our man when the tree next to the hole is on its side

i was riding with a newbie friend at the time of the fire, and talked to one of the firefighters. He said that some young'ens threw fireworks out the window of there SUV - idiots!

What the hell were they expecting to happen, there is nothing but shrubs and bushes at that corner.

Fortunately they got a quick handle on it and it was contained to the hill on the corner. The cops and FF's were cool though, let us ride through even though the area was still smoking and the roads were blocked.

I took some lousy pics with the cell, will post them once the woman goes to sleep.
