Default That's it... I'm out

With all the hot dry trails out there, I have headed to the beach. I pulled out the longboard and started surfing again. The water temps have been in the lower 70's and the weather has been unbelievable. Ol' Man's in San Onofre has been having the evening glass off's with spectacular sunsets. I'm sure I'll be still riding the bike again and soon, but for now the beach has been calling my name.

Enjoy the ride.... whatever it is on.

I've been doing both lately. An early morning ride followed by surfing in the late afternoon. I get so obsessed with mtbing that changing things up is really refreshing. Instead of a mammoth trip I think I'll do a surf trip to baja. I posted a ride this sunday followed with some surfing in the trailhead if anyones interested.

I rode this morning and I think the boy and I will be hitting the water this afternoon.
Here is Sand Dollar Beach in the Big Sur area. It was a about 2-5 feet on Tuesday.

Seeing the guys in the water got me jonesing.

ditto geronimo's schedule. the wife & kids are packed for the beach when i get home from weekend rides. totally blew off the dirt last weekend due to the heat, and hung out at the beach all day. and as mentioned the water has been way warm...

at this point it's much easier to get my 8 year old son in the water as opposed to the trails. not a bad alternative.

living in cali it tough.

Thumbs up

Missed you on today's ride... it was your kind of ride... lots of talking and beer with a little dirt thrown in for good measure. There were several surfing here as well on the stream crossings.

Enjoy the water!

Has anyone done any good riding in Baja? We were down at Scorpion Bay a few years back and there was a guy who had his bike. I wonder if there is anything good closer to us though.
