Default I confess I did it!

This might come as a surprise to many including myself and to others this will bring Joy or give them a Hard-On ( Dino Brown ).

Last week I purchased a 2006 Iron Horse MKIII. I must say I love this bike.
I will be riding the loop tonight and will be ready for all the jokes/sarcasm which I know comes with the purchase.

I also filed a restraining order against DINOBROWN because there is no telling what he will do when he sees me rolling the Ironhorse.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!! Don't listen to those a$s clowns- you made a great choice! They are jealous! Your bike is a more efficient pedaler than theirs..... it climbs better than "theirs".... descends way better than "theirs"....... soaks up small bumps better than "theirs" etc. etc. etc. Best of all- chicks dig it.

Did we pass eachother at The Lake yesterday? Were you waiting for someone?

Yes we did. I brought a friend along on his first ride so we started early and had to make a few stops.

So far so good.......love the bike... I now understand why you preach so much the word of the I H.

How purchasing the Iron Horse came about
make the long story short. I had purchased a gt hard tail for 150.00 and sold it it for 350.00 (profit 200.00). Then I purchased a cannondale scalpel for 380.00 and sold it for 850.00 (profit 470.00).

Anyways, I purchased the 06 Iron Horse MKIII for $1,100.00. which had a few upgrades: thompson stem, thompson seatpost, easton carbon riser bars and a SDG saddle. apart from the upgrades it already had a nice set-up Pike Fork, 5th element shok, hayes 9 carbon brakes, sram x.9, swiss wheels etc........stock

Also with the purchase the guy included a new sram x9 front der, new X.0 rear der (in box), mavic 223 wheel set w/9speed cassette, kenda 2.1 tires, race face evolce xc crankset (new in box) and a bunch of lubricants.

So for $1,100.00 I 'd say I got a good deal.

I have to send a shout out/ a big thanks to my girlfriend (muddy Zoe) for driving me to San Diego to pick it up. 6 hrs in traffic roundtrip.

That thing's actually trail-worthy?

Just kidding. Congrats on your new ride.

Now if I can just get my 2008 S-Works Epic for $1100...
