![]() I typically wear a woman's chamois (I really like my Nike lycra shorts) with men's baggy's over. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi men's baggy's and use the men's chamois. The only one that really bugs me is the Fox mid-ranger, I think, short chamois, and my men's Adidas road bib chamois. Way too big. Oh well. I like bibs and can't afford to have too many $100 + women's versions! |

I have a pair of Hoss, I think medium, but had to cut the elastic on the legs because they were too tight. As a matter of fact most of my baggie shorts I have to cut the elastic. I think my legs are too big?
![]() Roadie shorts fit ok though.

Those look kinda cool, but they'd probably look horrible on me. Those chicks kinda look like stick figures, not women with hips.
However... if they want some hard core product testing, I can test them ALL over! And have LOTS of action photos ![]() |

Foofighter,
Is the Pro Tec helmet a skateboarder helmet? I just know it's different and black. Yeah! I think that was us. Except I don't have curly dark hair...it's straight. Hey how can one tell with a helmet and rag on. Sounds like us. I was on a black IronHorse. I'll pm you next time.

I have one of the Specialized MTB seats -- you should get fitted so you know what size to buy based on the positioning of your sit bones.
I have tried several saddles -- the Butterfly, etc -- but found that they were comfy but not very conducive to downhills as they seemed too wide and difficult to manuever around for downhills when I wanted to be behind my seat. Go onto the Specialized website and check out their Body Geometry line. A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion -- good luck. FYI -- for shorts I love my Fox Huck shorts. They are actually mens shorts, but I love them. They don't come with the chamois padding - so I use a sugoi liner pair for padding. It's great b/c the chamois padding that are built in seem to shrink at a different rate then the outer shorts and the fit is never right after the initial wash. Yeah! The men's fox shorts are really comfortable.
My little girl also prefers the guys shorts and she's like a size 1. She tells me the girls shorts are too short sometimes. I am really glad I asked about the seat on here. I have a better understanding of what to look for and where. Also learned a bit more about shorts. So happy other girls also like the guy shorts better. Allison is right they make the shorts for the stick figures or something. Big on the waist tight on the....
