One hint to you fathers: Encourage you daughters to participate in sports of any kind, and practice with them. It prepares them so much better for life.


CC, you are right on. Being an active dad, my daughter had no choice but to tag along..... and we've had GREAT times. Let's see - gymnastics, softball, soccer, cheerleading, trap shooting, snow boarding, volleyball, back packing, water skiing (& wake board & wake skate), water polo, swim team and finally MTB'g. Most dad's I know wish their daughters spent 1/10th the time with them as mine does. Now the sad part (OK, I'm SUPER proud) we dropped her off at Sonoma State last weekend so she can continue her water polo career at the Division II level !

When are you going to cruise the Loop with us again???

I think the ladies here will all agree that we owe you GUYS a thank you too! I never would have gotten this much into MTBing if it wasn't for all the guys I've been riding with this past year. I owe lots of thank yous to Jason (husband), Neil and all the guys from Adrenaline, and all you STR guys for being so encouraging and always fun to ride with.

I was very fortunate to find this sport and through it find my hubby (we met on a ride at Aliso) MTB'ing has been therapeutic in many ways for me, and like Willy I have had the fortune of riding with a lot of patient, fun guys who got me hooked- THANKS!!!! It is truly great to see other gals on the trails.
