Got my 5 Spot done at Olympic. $135 for three coats - charcoal, candy blue, clear coat. People there were easy to deal with too. I think Ken (kennton) also knows a good powder coater. Maybe he can chime in.

It took a week for my SS which is not pictured, but 2 wks for the other 2 bikes. They don't bead blast it, rather have it chemically removed. Mine are not clear coated and the cost was $107.00, I went to Qlympic first, but they didn't carry "desert sand"

For Olympic. Not sure if they still do but Intense and Turner had their frames p-coated at Olympic.
My riding crew and I have had maybe 10 frames p-coated at Olympic over the years. Not one problem and finished when promised. My in-laws had some of their Patio furniture redone at Olympic ![]() |

Wasabi green, huh... I think back in the 70s we had a refrigerator that color. I think we called it something else, though.
Another vote for Olympdic. I had a Chevy truck frame, axle housing, and all the suspension done there a while back. Including stripping, it was like $450. They used to do all the frames (made in the US) for GT, Powerlite, Dyno, Robinson, as well as many other old-school BMX bikes).

Another vote for Olympic. I just had my daughters bike done an it came out amazing.
It cost $126, but it was color and clear. Plus, it was worth the quality of work. People were cool to work and BS with, which is always a plus in my book. When I walked up to the door, they had a huge box full of front triangles for some MB manufacturer... I had went to Hi-Tech before stopping here and got a look like I was interrupting them, or simply wasn't wanted. Once I started talking with them things were good, but I didn't exactly feel welcome at first. I went to Olympic primarily because Hi-Tech didn't have the color I wanted. Oh yeah, it took about 6 days to get it done.

Thanks Allison, I still dig the color after two years. It's definetly a love it or hate it type color. It's RAL#6013 on the standard powdercoat color chart. And yea, Olympic does excellent work.
My wifes 5Spot got the Olympic treatment as well... D |

I've seen good jobs done at Olympic, but I use Temecula Valley Powdercoat myself. They do a lot of bicycle frames & do a very good job. Either way you'll get a good job, just wanted to put TVPC out there too. Talk to Debbie. 951.699.8685

Olympic is by far the favorite among this group. I went there first, but surprisingly, they didn't have the color I wanted, "camel" was close but no cigar. I called around and found Hightech and they had the "desert sand" I was looking for.
