Default My new-ish Turner 5 Spot

Rob built this today while I documented for the new repair site. Most of the parts were transferred over from my Yeti 575. New parts include a silver hope headset, xt front der, and grips. Will soon also have new stem, handlebar, skewer, and saddle.

Here are some quick photos:

Now it's time to decide which decals and badge I want to go with. (turner vs. custom STR)

BTW . . . the color is charcoal candy blue. Sparkles nicely in the sunlight.

1 vote for custom STR.

There are plenty of Turner decorations out there already.

Nice build, but the tires are too dirty for a new bike...you better sell it to me cheap!

Oh yeah, go with STR logos - keep everybody else on the trail guessing.

Nice Godfather. That is a sweet color fo sho. I also go with the custom STR. I'm pretty sure it'll be unanimous, even from the homers.

Congrats on the bike AND the color. It sparkled nicely when you showed it to us Thursday night!

I clearly remember YOU flip flopping on colors until CC gave "HER" color recommendation (your "what color" thread).

In her words: "Charcoal Metallic (i.e. candy) Blue is soooooooo sexy!!! It's HOT! Get the blue!"

George get the blue bike.... George my computer... Oh George....

Congrats Godfather!

Great bike George makes me want one.
I'm still caught between the Yeti 575 and Chumba XCL. Although I did have a dream about the Chumba last night

How do you like the Pike fork? I assume that came off the Yeti...

Welcome to the cool-aid drinking poseur club...commonly referred to as Homers. I should be re-upping my membership soon. Now that you have reached the pinnacle of MTBing you can stop riding and just post tech crap on the net.

Oh yeh, STJunkie will now let your bike into the back of his truck. Besides who cares about the color...go get it dirty.

the only thing hotter than your paint job was the weather out there yesterday. i wish i coulda stuck around for the entire build, but i had to go to the dodger game....and then didnt get home til 1 cause the game went 14 innings, thus being too tired to miss the inaugural ride this morning.

Looking good. Metal head tube badge, STR decal in the Turner font for the downtube would look nice.

Another Homer for the custom decal and badge...do it, do it, do it.

Freekin camera will never catch the sparkly effect the way the light plays on it.
