Default Ladd Jasper we miss you!

From the Tahoe Crew.

I went through Scott's pics and we found a classic. Normaly Dell is so smooth that it is not often we get a picture like this one.

Maybe Dell needs a bigger bike?

I think there are enough Ladd Jasper crash pics in circulation to start an album

I wonder how many beers were involved in the making of this.

Sorry, just jealousy speaking.

...I think.

Yeah, seems my wheelie-drop could use a little work. That was the first of three attempts, and luckily the only one where dirt was sampled. Endoed hard on #2, but landed it. As for #3, well, we don't talk about #3 . And as there was a terrible memory card deletion incident, all vid was lost as well. Too, too, bad.

Bike OK...shoe not OK. Look at how his legs are crossed, the pedal riped part the sole of his shoe.

If at first you don't succeed, don't take up parachuting.

Dell, what size stem are you using? It looks like a 120+, or so! Try either a 70, or at most a 90, for that kind of stuff.

Good eye, Lee, stem's a 110. Figured since I'd wheelie-dropped a 2 footer several times, 4' would be no problem. After all, technique should be identical, right? Well, clearly something went wrong.

Don't know if my lack of skill just didn't have time to show on the smaller drop, if I just got all goofy and haired on the higher one, or some combo of the two (most likely).

Whatever the reason, I've had a shorter stem recommended to me by several people previously (you being one of them, if I recall correctly), and think it might finally be time to heed that advice. Certainly couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the tip! Again
