And it was HOT!!! Either I need more conditioning or the heat just kept me from performing to my full capability. I began this ride around 2pm with the intention of riding alone but I met a guy named Mike who works at Performance Tustin and rode the whole loop with him. I don't think I made it up a single Bitch without having to get off my bike and walk
Looking forward to riding Oaks again on Saturday with the Adrenaline guys. OH and by the way the Hadley's engagement was superb. Way better than what I had before. Alright happy riding at the loop everyone hope the injury list doesn't get any bigger... i'm off to have a beer ![]()

Well i was sitting at home on the computer yesterday because I had no work and I was getting really bored so I just got up and thought "I'm going riding!". Well since I had to go to a birthday dinner for my sister later on that night I couldn't ride the loop with everyone even though I really wanted to so I decided to ride something closer to me like Oaks. I was going to ride it alone but luckily as I was getting ready in the parking lot another guy had just got there so basically we both rode off in unison so when I caught up to him at the stoplight I started talking to him and we accompanied each other for the whole ride. Good thing because if I got injured out there and I was alone I'd be in a heap of shit real quick! The heat was actually not that bad and the other guy agreed due to the fact that the wind was blowing quite strongly. But after riding/hiking the three bitches thats where the heat began to take effect on me and broke me down. After a ton of water and cliff blocks I got a little more energy and finished off the downhill part. Cant wait to ride it tomorrow

I remember my first time up the biatches. Thought I'd never go back. You get used to it, and eventually you'll be able to clean them. Not that I have yet but I plan to. I can only make it up 3/4 of the first, a few yard of the 2nd, and the 3rd is no problem now. All on my big bike. So keep at it! Tomorrow morning's ride at 7am should be nice an cool.

I've ridden Oaks once before with the Adrenaline group in the morning and it was cooler than yesterday ride but still... SHIT GETS HOT OUT THERE! I think I'm taking a cooler with some beers for after the ride. After a long hot ride like that we've earned the right to a beer, right?
