Default Rain in them thar hills!!!

Good news to anyone planning to come up to BB or SART this weekend. IT RAINED LAST NIGHT!!! I was out doing a quick loop on Plantation and Pine Knot Trails last night around 4pm and the sky just opened up and the rain come down hard for about 15-20 minutes.

It should really help cut down on the dust while riding the trails up here. We could certainly use it.

Please send some to OC. I am tired of wearing a painters mask when I ride.

i noticed some looming clouds last night on our walk in AW but no rain would be nice though, would help w/ the talcum powder like dirt we have on some of the trails.

It rained a LOT in Idyllwild yesterday... just got back from a ride. The trails are really nice right now; it's still wet! Smells nice too.

Don't say that! Riding in mud probably wouldn't be cool

i remember riding up mustard in whiting a couple days after a rain...man that trail is like clay...it just sucks up any forward movement you have; but the creek crossings were refreshing

It is gonna take more than 15-20 min of rain to help BB out for more than a day. Fortunately it looks like the possibility of more t-storms for the next day or two

About an hour of steady downpour per night for the next month should do the trick.... but I guess you take what you can get.

Actually Pineknot is in pretty good shape compared to most trails on that side of the lake.

Speaking of Pineknot, couldn't they find anything more suitable to line the last 300 yards of the trail with as it drops into Aspen Glen? Bikers, hikers and horses will not break that stuff down anytime soon.

I'm thinkin' shards of glass soaked in bilge slop would at least be a step in the right direction.

The rest of Pinekont, however, 'rocks' in a good way.

HHAHA... yeah as i was bombing down that trail on my HT at like 35mph and the rocks were forcefully changing my line, i thought about the carnage if i went down and hit those vertical railroad ties...
