shoot I crashed at the very start of this "intense" "technical" ride at the parking lot on a giant sandbag. I love myself.

Yeah...That one-footed cross-up backflip over the sandbag didn't work out as planned.

But I think he landed it on the second attempt.

Maybe he's the prick who keeps digging out the holes on the loop!?!
Took me a couple of days to catch up on treads.

I apologize for all things said negative. It's only a forum where nameless faceless things are said. I once again Apologize to everyone. I to have crashed on that loop . On more than one occasion and in the same spot on two different bikes. I apologize for scratching everyones virtue ego. I cant stand the fact that people claim anything to be "their loop". It was there before us and probally will be there after us. Once again I am sorry Socaltrailriders it was an accident I was having to much fun.

Hmmm...Is this Yeti...?

I guess the apology is accepted, but apologies, if sincere, usually don't involve saying the stuff above.

It's like saying, "I apologize for calling you dumb, but I thought you were dumb."

You truly don't owe anyone anything. In the future just have your actions and words make up for past transgressions.

the part i bolded/highlighted is where you are wrong, and is the complete opposite of that. what makes STR such a great place is that this place is MUCH MUCH more than a "forum where nameless faceless things are said". this forum has provided MANY strong friendships over the past couple of years, friendships which involved looking out for each other and taking each other to the hospital when serious crashes occur.

it does take a man to step up and apologize, i've taken things too far in the past and have stepped up and apologized and squashed whatever nonsense had occured as well. in my opinion you went way too far with your mockery of our friends serious crashes that had them laid up in the hospital.

Wow, I take a few days off from checking on posts because apparently I am on STR too much and this is what happens.

I kinda regret not jumping into the fray but it looks like y'all did a great job at handing it. Many thanks to all who defended and stood up for the fallen. There is only one other place where I have seen that kind of comraderie, I think most of you know where.

I think Yeti knows his role now and to be careful how he presents his views over a internet forum. I still consider myself a newbie to this great group of people but maybe we should all squash this and let it go. I think Yeti has served his time (at least under Yeti, I don't know about Slopoke). This is my two cents for what it is worth. Welcome Yeti lets have a beer (u buy).

Don't really care how he presents his views over other forums, but STR is different. People here care about each other, we help each other out, we ride together. This isn't just another nameless, faceless MTB site.

Basically: save the horsesh!t for ridemonkey or MTBR. We are a MTB family, we stick together.

Hopefully Yeti/Slowpoke has learned from this experience and will become a productive, supportive part of our clan.
