Talking My New Niner/Replacement 29er

Picked up today from The Path... Niner Sir9. Originally I had a Kona Unit 2-9, but supposedly they were cracking at the head tube. The Path was generous enough to allow me to upgrade instead of a warranty. Now here I am. I didn't have the chance to ride today, but I got it all ready for tomorrow baby...Probably will ride it down 5 Oaks first...

Between the 9er wheels and the steel frame I think you'll find the ride to be very plush for a hard tail. Let us know how you like it. Thats a sweet rig, bud

853 tubing baby. I have never ridden Reynolds before. The unit 29 had some Italian steel. It rode plush also, but I bet the 853 will be a little more compliant.

I think I made the right decision by getting the sir and not the one9.

I finally feel like I bought a bike that I will use for a long time. I keep on going through bikes these days.

I am using the White Bros. 22t cog. It is completely re-buildable. The engagement is a lot quicker than the klaw that I had on there prior.
