Default Aliso Woods - Pot Plant Plantation?

So I come home from work just now and I see a sherrif's helicopter hovering and finally landing at the El Toro and 73 interchange area up the hill. I live right near the entrance to Canyon Vista Park (MILF Park) so "hey that near my house!". Recently there has been some training activity up here so I think they must be training again etc. Well I come home and the wife says "hear the helicopters". I say yes, and she states they been going for some time, so she asked around. Neighborhood busy body (who knows everyones and everything) states he called the sherriff's and they found a pot farm back behind the houses (think off the top of Cholla down the old trail to El Moro road) and they are looking for the "perps".

Once I get the real story or if someone hears anything, post it up...

Bang - OC Register is on it:

ALISO VIEJO – A crop of some 6,000 marijuana plants, with a street value of more than $500,000, were removed today from a canyon adjacent to an upscale Aliso Viejo neighborhood.
The plants, watered by a system of water hoses that tapped into neighborhood water lines, were found in the area of Peppertree and Sprucewood, said Orange County sheriff's Lt. Lloyd Downing.
The crop was discovered by deputies patrolling the area via helicopter.
"I'd rather be lucky than good," said Jim Amormino of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. "This was just an observation."
The neighborhood sits at the edge of the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park near an area known as Wood Canyon.
Crews cut the water lines and loaded the marijuana into baskets, which were airlifted from the canyon, a television report said.
One unsuspecting resident told Channel 9 he thought his water bill had gone up about $40 a month because he had just installed a fish tank.

you know those cops took home some of that weed. "You put your weed in it" LOL upscale Aliso Viejo neighborhood. I guess I am just jealous because I don't have Aliso in my back yard.

Same thing happened earlier this year behind my friend's home in Mission Viejo by Jackie Joyner Park. Irrigation was siphoned off the landscaping water system.

One of his kids secretly went down the next day with his buddies to see if any weed was accidently left. Sure enough, they walked right thru a patch of poison oak and all of them got a HUGE rash.
