So while in Belmont Shores getting a cup of Peets coffee I passed this bike shop and decided to drop by and check it out. I forgot the name of the store but it was mostly cruisers and Giant mountain bikes. I got to talking to some guy who works there and dropped the STR bomb on him and explained how we go out on rides and how friendly everyone on the forum was. He wrote down the web address and should be joining soon probably. I think his name was Sean.

But yeah ... George you need to get me stickers so I can start sticking them on things and get the name out.

The bike shops name is Jones cyclery on 2nd street in the LBC.Anyways that guy is cool he sold me this awesome looking alloy tow hitch cover with a mountain bikers silhoutte.

nice job on spreading the germs jesse!

that shop is called JONES and the owner is a knob. i avoid it unless i absolutely, positively need something. once in a great while they will have killer prices on the GIANTs though, not too many core mt. bikers in my neighborhood (belmont shore). im sure some of the employees are cool, and there is a mechanic there who is a cool bubb whom i used to bodyboard with.

Nice recruiting job, jesse! Word of mouth is probably the #1 reason STR kicks so much butt today. If it weren't for word of mouth we might have like 50 members right now

Point being . . . spread the STR love!!

You're right about the stickers. I keep meaning to order another batch of them but always end up doing something else. Maybe tonight . . .
