Default Accomplished Rides List

George,

I was wondering and maybe I missed it but does STR have an Accomplished Rides list for members? I think it would be cool to have a rides list on each members profiles for rides they have done. Either something coded into the sign up page after the ride you can select completed or something. Or a master list of all rides where someone can just select yes and there name goes on the list. Would be cool to know who has done what and when so when people are planning rides they can go directly to people who have been on the trail recently to ask questions. Once again maybe its here and I missed it

My thoughts atleast

Jordan

That sounds like a cool idea. That will also be one BIG list. Just think of all the in-state stuff. Not to mention all the road trips we all take.

Yeah but I think it would be cool kinda like our own Geoladders but without all the tech stuff. Maybe a master list of rides and people can select YES for if they have done it and maybe post comments or links to RR's. I think it be cool if lets say you wanted to ride SART and you could go to the list and select SART and you had list of whos done it and how recent and some RR links

Brainstorm any and all features that should and shouldn't be included. I'll stash this away in my STR ideas notebook. Btw, I already have another project in mind for after the injured list -- so this would at best be dealt with after that one. Sometimes I wish STR could be my full time job but I gotta pay the bills somehow

This idea sounds promising. Any thing else?

Yeah, but what do we do when we've rode them all?

Do it again. Lather, rinse repeat.

Do them all backwards on a single speed.

I noticed on other boards that some people make little graphic files that they stick in their sigs that indicate things like interests or something. I thought that would be cool for something like rides. You could have one for each ride you've done. But, obviously for some you'd have to exclude some. I dunno.

Anyway, they look like bars, maybe 1/8th inch high. Something like that.

Guaranteed a short pour if the bar is only 1/8 of an inch high
