Talking Did Anyone See KLUNKERZ?

Hey STRs,
I'm just wondering if anyone came down to my movie. A bunch of the cast came down from Marin, and most were inagural inductees into The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Fisher, Breeze, Kelly, etc. Some of the DogTown guys came down, too. BIKE magazine, Mountain Bike Action, and some other rags were covering it, so hopefully something will show up. There were maybe 450 people there, and it smelled like most of them rode down to theater and smoked out when the lights went down. Anyway, if anyone out here in the forums came, I'd like to hear what you thought. I'm launching sales at InterBike in September. I'll post pics later.
Ride on,
Billy

didnt get a chance to check it out. Other premiers that got decent turnout locally (OC) were "presented" at Tustin Brewery menu* |* The World Famous Tustin

Maybe you can work with them to set something up there and more from board might hit it? Small place so imagine not to challenging to get going. either way good luck at interbike

Question

Are you planning on a local south Orange County showing any time soon? The brewery idea is usually good for a large turnout.

Red face OC Screening

Hey All,
Sorry you guys couldn't make it. The film played at the Edwards Island Cinemas in Newport Beach at the NBFF a couple of months back. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do something down there again. As much as I'd like to show the movie all over, none of these screenings pays me a dime. After three years I find myself a couple hundred grand in the hole with another kid on the way and all that entails. I hope I can make something happen down there, but I just can't say when. Thanks for the support. I hope to see you some of you soon.
Ride on,

Looks like the guys from MtnBikeRiders.com made it out.
Mountain Bike Riders » Blog Archive » Klunkerz at the Bicycle Film Festival

They even got a pic with Gary Fisher.

Hey that's me in the green!

Billy, awesome movie! I actually sat in the row to the left of your wife. Don't know who it was but some dude behind us lit it up...

By the way that was a very informative and entertaining movie. I never realized that so little went into creating a mountain bike, but now its a huge industry where it has created throusands of jobs, happier people and opportunities for strangers to become friends.

I was really honored to have been there and shake hands with some of the living legends and I really appreciate all your hard work in putting it together.

Awesome job Billy!

I'm very bummed that I missed it too. Just one of those weekends when I had way too much going on. I was under the impression I would get a chance to see it in some form in the near future. I guess not. Please keep us posted if you have another showing or it goes to video???

Good Luck Bill!
