Oh yeah, and when you ride I think something like 1/3 of your weight should be supported by your legs, 1/3 by your arms and the other 1/3 is actually being supported by the seat. I think I read that in a magazine somewhere.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions... i adjusted the angle tonight and after my ride on Telegraph canyon in chino hills i wasn't numb.... i also moved the seat forward as well.

Its funny how you just don't think how the subtlest adjustment can make a huge difference...

i think when i get some more $$ i'll have to check out the sit bones analyzer and get me a better seat....

FYI, the Specialized sit bonez measurer is free to use. It's just a piece of memory foam with a ruler attached to it. You can goto any store that has it and check it out.

Most opinions have already been given... padded shorts.... seats with love channels... etc.

A couple friends who ride their bikes to work, sometimes swap their normal seats for a HOBSON seat. Whether it is for you- I do not know. I do know they work!!!
