Back on a bike...
![]() |
Recently got two new Maxxis ADvantage 2.4 and one Maxxis High Roller 2.35 as a door prize. Currently running a Specialized Resolution 2.2 on the front and either a Nev 2.1 or Kenda Small Block 8 2.35 on the rear.
I know I will gain a little weight (but I can lose alot on my spare tire!), but was wondering if anyone had any opinions or ride experiances with these... PS - the are the single ply Riding: OC Trails Rider 210lbs, semi-agressive Bike Intense 5.5

I am about your same size, and tend to be a bit of a rock basher. I've ridden the 2.4 Advantage single ply, and flatted every time I rode with them. I run the 2.1 Advantage single ply tires with no problem, I think there's just way too much flexy sidewall on the 2.4's. Who knows, maybe you won't have the same problem. I will say, however, they hook up really well.
