Default Big fire in Tahoe

Don't know if you've heard about it, but one of the most beautiful places on earth is on fire right now. One news channel said 100's of homes have gone up.

Sheclimbs, how's your dad's place? Hope everything is good.

I am sorry to hear this and my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who lives out there.

I wonder if some half-wit forest service employee is going to blame this one on mountain bikers too?

Hey Mikey, fortunatly he's on the North Side of the lake. I feel terrible for everyone down south. That's got to be one of the biggest fires they've had up there in a very long time. From what I'm reading it sounds like the area is close to Agoura and Fallen Leaf lakes where you and Scott and I rode last summer.

Sounds like it's burning about 5 miles southwest of the city of South Lake Tahoe, just east of Meyers (El Dorado County

Sad, beautiful country up there

More bad news for those folks in Tahoe.
