Talking A really satisfying weekend!

Tired, a bit sunburned, and enough riding to almost be satisfied - the perfect way to end a weekend.

Friday I rode Peters and a bunch of extra credit in the area. 17 miles and a fair bit of climbing, even if some was on the streets. Did it in the heat of mid-afternoon and was pretty well wiped.

Saturday took the wife on an easy loop at Aliso. It was a beautiful but crowded morning there. Would have loved to do more, but wanted to keep it mellow so she'd be stoked for more. She is.

This morning I met a friend and finally popped my Fullerton Loop cherry. I'm still laughing about what a bizarre but fun trail network that is. I definitely need to hit it with the STR wrecking crew soon.

3 days. Some fun trails. No crashes. Add in a family BBQ Saturday night (carne asada y cerveza), lunch & a movie today, plus freshly-booked reservations for a trip to Sedona, and it was a very satisfying weekend.

Hope everyone else had a great time too.

I'd say that was a pretty successful weekend too! Way to work the wife in the scheme of things... Dood, you earned a lot of Love Bank credits. Good move!

That's so cool to hear. I didn't do a lot of bike riding, just ran a few errands on the bike...but it's always good to hear about a satisfying w/e of bike riding

I was only able to ride 1 day this weekend, but I'm glad I fit it in. Did the Loop with some guys who are much faster than me, which was great because I had to really push myself to keep up.

I hope next weekend is a nice as this one was. Perfect temps and clear skies!

We missed you on the Whiting ride Sat. Maybe now that your wife is hooked, she'll be in for the next one. I rode twice yesterday, a morning SS run at Aliso, then an afternoon ride at San Clemente. Lot's of fun. Sounds like it was a great weekend for alot of the STR folks.
