Job opportunities for the hubby?
Just to add to Jason's bulletin, he is a natural at sales and engineering and he amazes me every day with how knowledgable he is about mechanics and how good he is with people.
We'd greatly appreciate if anyone knows of any opportunities within the industry. We've got bills to pay!  |

D'oh! Sorry to hear that, Jason. Hopefully someone reading this knows of a place where you would fit in.
Since bike shops usually have relationships with lots of different bike companies, maybe someone at a shop can ask the people they know to see if they need somebody?

Jason...just spoke to Chris @ Incycle, suggested you put in an application. 3 locations, San Dimas, Chino, and Pasadena. Sorry to hear about that, hope it all works out for the best.

Don't worry... it doesn't do any good anyway.
Jason: One door closes... another opens ... you will find something better than you left. This I believe.
Suggestion: Look in the jobs advertised in the back of the Bicycle Retailer. Have seen several recently advertised for the SoCal area. Will keep you in my prayers (it works!) Also, keep your sense of humor... as this too shall pass. OMR

that sucks. I am in the tech field and when the .com took a crash it was hard and I was out of work for a whole year. Although I was at my happiest that year I was collecting unemployment and washing windows on the side. It was easy for me because I don't have a family or many bills so was able to live at the same lifestyle that I have grown acustomed to. It was good times surfed every other day on average worked only about four hours a day...ahh good times. Anyways I hope you find something...good luck

Sorry to hear. Good luck. agree with others woud hit up LBS's and speak to them regarding manu reps/contacts. met someone recently who is a sales rep for major bike manuf (think he reps from central coast through SD). if you need contact PM me and i'll see if i can find info he gave me.
btw-based on posts above sounds like some sh!t going down at Chumba. Whats up???
