Jason,
This is off of the bicycle retailers site:
Bicycle Retailer

Many bike industry jobs are posted in here on a regular basis. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

BTW, no search results are listed in the bicycle retailer link.

Jason, I'm sorry to read about the new challenges. As it has been said above, new challenges brings new opportunities. Although you've been in the bike biz, keep your options open. Since you're a moto guy, also keep an eye out on the classifieds on cyclenews.com.

DOH thanks for finding that for me Lee!

Fixed the link. Select Positions Available and hit enter. for some reason it wouldn't paste the page link.

Good luck again Bro!

I think JensonUSA can find some part-time work for you. They are just over the hills from Diamond Bar in Ontario. Check them out at the following address:
JensonUSA.com - Your Mountain & Road Bike online parts supplier!
I also think FedEx has some part-time openings to fill-in time until you can get a full-time job in your field.
I hope you find something soon. It sucks when you have bills to pay.

Thank you everyone for your help. I have found some part time work and i think it will be a great place for me.
I am going to going to work at The Bike Co part time.
The place is cool and the guys are cool.
I will let you all know when I start. Then you can all come in and visit me. It's a mellow environment.
I am looking at getting some more marketing going maybe a some shop rides My slow @SS will host them so everyone can come. I might catch ya on the DH.
We won't call it a newbie ride but more of a MTB clinic ride or something like that. I see a lot of people intimidated by riding with groups of people and they miss the fun of group rides.
Mountain biking is about having fun doing something you like to do and getting some exercise doing it.
Leave the blistering speed to the people that are getting paid to ride. Yes i have been known to go fast on the DH. But If I wanted to go ride alone I would go alone.
This means we don't drop people . There is nothing worse for a rider that is a riding a slower pace and doing his or her first ride in a while and being completely lost .
This is what causes people to hang it up. I have seen it many times.

If this ride sounds like something you would like to do send me a PM . I will start setting them up.
I can get Some Chumba support and maybe we can turn this into an event with food & drinks and maybe a raffle.
This is not exclusive to one bike shop either all the shops in OC are friends and are welcome to come.

Actually Rob, when I crashed, Jason heard me yell and he rode back up the trail at full speed to rescue me. He wouldn't leave anyone behind, let alone his wife.

Congrats on finding some work. You'll like the Bike Co. As Gregg put it, those guys are are cool peeps. Youl'l like working with Joe, Kevin, Terry and Tony G. I've did a shop ride with Bike Co. and I tell you, Joe is fast. We went from the shop to the luge and back and it was a hammerfest for sure. I'm up for a ride with ya. I live close by so I'll stop by and say hello sometime.

Default Ha Ha

Yeah She was paired up with one of my best friends . He was right there. I stopped and sensed something was wrong and heard Willie scream. I don't think anyone else could have heard it. It's like a sense that normally only mothers have with baby's. I went back up the sjt so fast my tire was smokin from rubbing on the chain stay. I got there and I almost fainted. I was in worse shape than her at that point. Dehydrated and heat exhaustion. A different kind of problem . She was scratched up and sore. And a little freaked out. The FRS radios didn't help this time. They need a hold feature. Mine was squashed and it turned off.
Willie is always safe riding in our pack. That trail is normally nothing she would have to worry about it was a freak thing that she bailed into that ditch. If you don't know her already well all you need to know that she kicks @ss. She has been riding 7 months and she can do more than a lot of the guys that have been riding any years. Where does it say a clinic for DH riding?
Just wondering. I was saying let's not call it a newbie ride because not everyone that will be doing the ride is new. Some of the people just dropped out of the loop for a while. They need to keep a mellow pace. to get back up to speed. Some people can do it as a mellow recovery ride from a long sat ride.
