Dude, bring a shovel - looks like you could make a cool little jump there.

Thanks. The new situation has been brought to the attention of the Chief and his minions.

This nut-job has been at this for a while. How long until he tires and moves up to piano wire and punji sticks?

The Virginia Tech murderer started small, and now everybody looks back and says, "gee, we should have done something."

Ride carefully.

This really doesn't seem like it's some guy with a shovel on a mission to make cyclists crash.

I'd be more inclined to think 12-yr-old neighborhood kids digging holes for toys (GI Joe still cool? Who knows...) or trying to make obstacles/jumps to ride through or something.

Someone who was crafty enough to dig holes for the sole purpose of making people crash would probably be a little better at digging/placing the holes...those last pics make it look fairly wide and shallow.

I dunno. Who knows. Weird nonetheless.

I had not even thought of that... wire strung across those fence line sections would be TERRIBLE. Especially as dusk/night. I sure hope these a-holes never go that far with this...

the last 3 times ive ridden that loop, i havnt seen them. i didnt even see a fill in mark or anything, but thats not too cool to be doing. an inexperienced rider could probably get hurt in something like that.

Never had it in Burrito's but I did have it at a Tongan BBQ in the EnZed, it's kinda tough, but it is mighty tasty, i get all hungry when we pass the stables now.

But thanks to who ever filled them in.

I think we need to get a watch out there in that place where that thing keeps getting removed (ShinKen knows what I'm talking about)

Talking Ahhh... the mystery of the holes has finally been solved

A local professor from UCI has reported gaint worms in the area (a la Tremors). After the disapearance of several local (un-named)mountain bikers, horses, dogs and cats, traps were set around the 2 holes that keep reappearing. The professor's two graduate students who were monitoring the holes with cameras... have not been heard from since yesterday. At first thought to be the work of"those cat people", people are now being warned to watch out for worms. They are known to prefer small children. Kevin Bacon was also reported in the neighborhood.

As long as Remo Williams isn't seen, then it's all good.

That damn hole was back as of 7:30 tonight! Someone must be doing it during the day or something if it wasn't there earlier. I swear I'm gonna stake this spot out with some bailing wire and duct tape, find out who's doing this, and, well...I'm not sure yet, but some thing.
This seriously needs to be dealt with; I knew to look out for this from the boards, but anyone that doesn't could take a nasty hit there. Anyone we can report this to, or is it just a matter of trail justice?

--That sounded a bit harsh, I guess. I mean it somewhat tongue-in-cheek, just concerned about this continuing until the point that someone gets hurt

Default I have an idea.

Video tape the guy or girl diggin the hole then follow them home. We will dig the dirt out of the lawn in front of where they live and fill in the whole. They will then maybe get a clue . They will also know that we know where they live. Now The person will the trail because he will get blamed if anything happens again. The tape will be the amo if the guy is crazy and starts trouble.
Go 007 on em ... I think everyone is interested in seeing just who would do that.

Default I can't do it. It has to be someone who lives close .

It has to be somone who can ride from home to loop or somone who can see the section of the trail from where they live.
Ok who live by there?
