Default D-Ville Destroyer!!

Just kidding on the title but Chumba hooked me up for a D-Ville worthy toy for this weekend...Thanks Alan!

I got myself a spanking new XCL in Orange with a RP23 and the some tasty specs:
2008 Talas, Stans Olympic ZTR Rims, Ringle Flea Hubs, Kenda Small Blocks, Race Face Carbon Riser Bars, Avid Ultimate Brakes, King Headset, Thomson Stem, Thomson Masterpiece post, FSA Carbon K-Force cranks, X0 shifters, X0 rear der, XT front der, Sram 991 cassette, Fizik Arione saddle, Oury Lock on grips and Time ATAC carbon pedals...whew!!
All built up weighs in at 27lbs, 4oz!

It rocks and man are gears a great idea!!
I did 2 laps at Oaks before work yesterday and it was a blast clearing the B's and then truly bombing Chutes
Heres hoping I can do the bike some justice...
Heading to D-Ville in about 8 hours with Nam, this rig should be perfect for up there!

I am actually thinking of getting this bike as well. The Chumba at this time is my first choice. My other considerations are the Titus Moto Lite and the Santa Cruz Blur LT.

I run Small Blocks on both SS's and love them at Oaks.
I acutally used Iginitors yesterday and I think they might be the tire choice for D-Ville...what do you think?

I try to follow the MTB Nor-Cal board. It seems the tire of choice for D-Ville is the 2.55 Weirwolf LT.

candidly have not run them yet. was planning on throwing them on back of my AM when my nevs are done (prob keep blue grooves up front?). thought i heard a few (including u say th block 8's are a bit sketch as a front)...may have misunderstood as seems u r down with them. in the past I have run some maxis and WTB that had "similar" tread pattern as block 8's and loved they way they rolled for the back.

again nice rig and enjoy!
