Riding in Santa Cruz and Monterey area

Hey guys and ladies i am going up to the santa cruz area in a few weeks and was wondering if anybody has ridden any good trails. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am going with some brothers-in -law and I want to keep it somewhat low key, but I will be doing some rides by myself. I am looking for more downhill stuff, but also some mild to strenuous xc stuff for the brothers. And if anybody knows a good bike shop in area that would help too. Thanks in advance for your help

only stuff i have hit up there (and can recall names) a few years back where

laguna seca/sea otter
big basin
wilder ranch
henry coe

hit some stuff close to the town of felton but cannot recall what. also heard something about a fort ort(sp?) but never been there (think close to LS?))

no advice on lbs..sorry

there's also some decent stuff around SLO if you stop on the way north
