With my most regular riding partner, my 13 year old son, out on the Loop. I sure wish I had his unlimited energy.

Yes I do have the EJ glasses but they are protected in a glass case above the fireplace. I also have one of his jackets. The alarm will sound if you or anyone attempts to take them.

That's on a trail up above Pinecrest Lake...up above Sonora and Twain Harte, in Tuolumne County. That actual spot is called Cleo's Bath. Absolutely gorgeous up there!

<--- That's me in my goofy avatar, all bundled up against the cold January morning temps in Temecula during the 12 Hours of Temecula race earlier this year.
Here's me at the top of some overlook in Point Mugu State Park (above Sycamore Canyon -- sweet ride!). I was riding my pal Charlie's second FS rig that day (an old C'dale): ![]() Note the old biopace ring (with the rusty chain wrapped around it! -- see one here Shimano Biopace Chain Ring) at the bottom of the totem. Trippy to see all that stuff up there (I mean, somebody had to haul up a screw gun and all the parts, right?). I ride mostly in the Malibu Hills, and mostly on my own. ...but sometimes with my pal Charlie (on his main FS C'dale ride): ![]() ...and sometimes with my son Willie (on his Giant Rincon HT): ![]() ...and sometimes with SHINKEN!! (okay, only once, and it was in a race, and we didn't even know each other...) ![]() I usually carry my big-ass Nikon camera with me... Last edited by shudder; 06-05-2007 at 09:36 AM. Reason: added link to biopace pic |
