Default scary run in at the luge.

It seems within my last two or so trips to Whiting and the Luge I have been running into some scary critters.
Close call with a rattler a little over a month ago at Whiting.Couple weeks ago ran into a pack of 6 or seven skunks right at the end of the Luge near the pavement.Luckily I escaped that one withot getting sprayed.Today at that exact same spot I was cruising down when all of a sudden I come face to face with a full size bull.It was standing there facing right up the trail at me giving me the evil eye.The thing had some serious horns on it and freaked the f%$^ out of me.I went around him through the trees. He looked agitated.I couldn't help but feel he was about to lunge at me the whole time.Be forewarned!!! The Luge is dangerous in more ways than one.

Singletrakk - C'mon now; a bull on Luge!? Maybe you're just dreaming about critters on Luge(and not riding at all) and there's some Freudian symbolism to these critters?

I rode Whiting today at the luge and got lucky..no skunk, rattler or bull. It turned out to be a great ride with three of my buddy's.

Ha! A few years back I almost ran into a bull on Joplin near old camp. This is the only other account I've heard about this bull.

Cool FYI guys...

For what's it's worth. There were recent reports on HD radio that several riders have gone missing while riding the Luge. Several eye witnesses said that they had seen strange lights in the sky above the Luge prior to the riders going missing. Dare I say alien abductions?

Police and county officials are staying mum on this.

The truth is out there!

Be careful about what you say about aliens, I am one of them. I even have a green card to prove it...

A few years back my buddy and I ran across a guy on a horse out near the top of Old Camp. He asked us if we had seen a buffalo. A what??! Yeah a buffalo! Needless to say we rode a little slower than normal on the descent. Can you imagine running into a buffalo on one of those fast turns?
As far as bulls go; we were doing a night ride. Just finished up with The Luge and was heading down the canyon road. The police stopped us and wouldn't let us pass. Apparently several cows got through one of the fences and were spotted heading to Cook's Corner. No bull.
