Default Honda RN-01 may soon be availible to the public?

thats right guys, take out the second mortgage on your house and you too may be a possible owner of a Honda downhill race machine

Word on the street is that the Honda RN-01 will be offered for sale as a frameset only. I’ll take one! Wishful thinking at this point still but we can only hope it’s true…
“Details are still under the veil, But Honda decided to sell their bikes for “frame kit”. Some bike dealers got some kind of invitations or informations by postal envelope from HRC. HRC will have press launch on June.”

Nice thing about that is the state of the art gearbox it has rather than derailleurs. I want one. Might cash in my UK bank account and become a downhiller....hoho!

There's enough rice on the street. Do we really need it in the dirt too?! Sigh...I wonder how long until we see our first lowered RN-01 with underframe neon lighting and chrome rims.

I knew I shouldn't have built up the M3. While I was living and working at Honda Motors in Japan for three months last fall, I was told that the framesets are/would be available (I was told that I could likely get one at that time), but I didn't really believe it. And so I never thought it would become a reality. The M3 may for up for sale if I can get an EP deal on the RN01.

LMAO

Seriously tho- There's more rice on the dirt than on the street, 90% of the frame on the dirt are made in Taiwan and Japan. And let's not forget Sh!tmano, made in Japan
