Default garmin 205 Help

no idea whats going on but my garmin edge 205 is dead. sill not start, take charge from a/c adapter nor recognized by computer via usb. any ideas.

Try doing a reset on it.

I don't have my Edge nearby, but press down the left button on the face, and the bottom button on the left side at the same time. Then try turning it on, etc.

FIXED! thanks. found this on Garmin's site.

Q. How can I reset an Edge or Forerunner 205/305 unit that has locked up?

A. If your device has locked up during use, you can reset your unit by pressing the "Mode"(reset/lap) and "Power" buttons at the same time. In addition, please make sure that the device has the latest software version available. To update the software, please use the following link:

hey not sure why this happens but my 205 locked up again this weekend

search/found this old post on mine and quick fix.

merely bumping for other owners that may encounter the same. thanks again to dubjay for initial response as i was sure was going to have to send back in for repair or worse buy a new one
