Wow that looks great. I will likely do Tahoe this fall with some buddies... wonder how that compares to Whistler.

Default Whistler

Have a trip planned this August to Whistler, been there many times skiing/boarding, its time to test out the dirt.
I am also going to do one day of Heli Biking. $200 will get you a one way ride to the top with over 4000 vertical drop in a shiny A-Star Heli. Ohh yeah, that includes lunch at the top provided by them.

I would love to go, but because of my past, I do not think they will let me into Canada. One drunk driving and they deny entry.

There is no "fall" in Lake Tahoe.
It goes from Summer to winter. September would be your last riding opportunity

Dean, I heard a story about people crossing borders illegally. It's just a story, but I think it can be done.

Have you tried or just heard stories? If you're really interested in going I'd say either contact an immigration attorney in Canada and ask, or try to contact a US Consulate in Vancouver and find out. I know that Canadian's coming to the US with arrests (more specifically possession arrests, even if they were later pardoned) can visit the US, have work visas, etc. They just can't become permanent residents/green card holders or citizens. May just require you to apply for a visitor's visa or something ahead of time.

M80kickflip and Lor can attest to this as well Dean. We went to Whistler a few years ago, and took a friend of ours along, who I thought for sure was going to get left behind at the border. He's had all kinds of stupid arrests and charges brought against him. He even served two years in the State, but the Canadians let him in. No worries, eh?

The Bike Park is awesome. The best place I have ever ridden. Been there 3 times. Going again in July.

Ahh Whistler!! Allison, our buddy has a serious resume w/the state They let him in. If you can get a passport, I believe they'll let you in. I broke my leg there 2 years ago and I'm dying to go back. It's the best just don't get over tired and break something like me.

Sorry Allison, I should read more thoroughly. Guess I should take my own advice as I'm a reading teacher.

Lor, I believe it was Dean with the concern, not Allison.
