I would like to be the first to say happy Mothers Day to all the mom's out there!......especially my wife, she is on her 5th year of being a mommy

My daughter and I decided to surprise Traci -mommy, wife, best friend- with a very "special" gift,...Dean, Steven and Dell have seen it up close..........you guessed it, a new bike!!!

She got it a day early and absolutely loves it! A size small Yeti ASR-SLC with some sexy bling thrown on to make it her own. Our daughter has a ice skating recital sunday afternoon so we are hoping to get it out on the dirt in the am.
And Jose before you start your ranting that it should be a single or a 29er, she already has a kick ass Surly 1x1 and she is a bit too short for the 29" wheel

I sold my beloved Mongoose Canaan Team, actually it was gathering dust, and picked this up for her and with the few pennies left over grabbed a 24" BMX cruiser to match the one my daughter has. Her and I are going to give a go at BMX racing this summer, both of us are super beginners! Wish us luck!

pretty sweet. think i saw that being built up at adrenaline yesterday when i stopped in for the elastimers. nice job dad. am sure mom will dig it for years to come. good luck bmx

btw- this is what my boy got his moms so she can bust out the picks of his mad hucks when hanging with her girlfriends

Very cool!!! Now Tracey has NO excuse to not come out and ride with us gals. Hmmm, maybe a nice way to top off such a gift is a road trip up to our neck of the woods for some riding... =)

She's already seen the dirt...Neil and I went for a short ride yesterday

(to his surprise - I pawned off the child -
Yes on mothers day).

No public apearances for me until I get some skills

I can barely get clipped in before tipping over, and let's just discuss riding up hill

Hopefully sooner than later i'll get to ride with some of you.

Ouch you guys are painful!!

Pink King is still the in family, I thought the black King flowed with the bike a little better. Coming from a guy with a really PINK single speed you don't want too many variations of pink.
She did get pink Candy pedals and pink Danger Boy Gripped Brake levers are on the way.
Pink King hubs only when she pins a number on

, she knows the deal!
Shannon, are you coming down for Bikes and Beers?, we are going with Maddie in tow, can't wait!
Jose, keep bugging her bro!!

She has already been taunting the 26er Zen Master!

YES! We're coming down. We had to change our plans for coming down Mother's Day (sorry Mom)... But with gas at almost $4.00 driving down two weekends in a row wasn't in the budget.

Cool about Maddie, tell her we got a bike trailer and we're bringing the pugs in tow also!! Should be interesting. We'll call you guys when we're on our way down on Friday.
