Default Powerder Coating?

Hey guys what would it take for my frame to get powder coated? I have a newer Woodstock 707 that I'd like to get painted a light blue. Does anyone know what it would cost and what I need to do to prep the frame?

depends on the place, but usually they will prep it for you, just take it all apart. i have a friend in colton that powdercoats. he did my swing arm on my cortina, came out good.

don't make it too light of a blue... something like a baby or powder blue is pretty feminine.... or so i'm told

Anyone know the ballpark price to powder coat a frame and fork? I'm thinking a custom color for a new SS.

I had 3 bikes powder coated by High Tech Coatings Inc. in Santa Ana. They have a good selection. I went to Olympic in Santa Ana, but they wanted about $150.00 and didn't have the desert sand color I wanted. 2 of the frames cost $103.00(desert sand) each and the latest(wrinkle red) cost $110.00. I've pasted pics of the bikes I had powder coated to give you an idea.

Here's the link. PM me and I'll give you more detail.

Ikon Powder Coating in Anaheim does bikes. I called them for a quote and they were reasonable. I have seen their work and it is top notch.

I've used Olympic in Santa Ana. Cost just over $100.00 to get a frame painted w/ a nice top coat. They're fast and reasonable.
