Default Nice Shop in Santa Monica

I just checked out this place today driving back from the SM Farmers Market.

Cynergy

Specialized, Rocky Mtn, Niner-including a sweet green rigid, Yeti. Full Parts Selection, Gear, Road Bikes, Clothes. Bought some clothes and talked to a very bike-savy employee about a Spec Stumpy Pro. Very nice place.

Did you happen to talk to Rico? He is definitely one of the most knowledgeable, helpful guy's I've met, and that's just out on the trail!

Does he go by Rick? Used to race, do motorcross? If so, he's the guy that I talked with for over an hour, and yes very smart guy.

Word. I like that shop a lot. Prices can be on the higher side for some items, but that seems to be changing now that they're cycling through some product. Plus, the trade off for paying around retail (sometimes more, sometimes less) is that the shop is majorly high end; tons of stunning bikes, road and mtn, and tons of duds and gear. The service is terrific, with knowledgable, down to earth people. Cynergy is for people who believe good shops should be able to exist, and even make a living. And for people willing to pay for good advice and good service, this is the best West side shop IMHO. If you're a cheap-skate, then go waste your time bargain hunting on the internet. Me, I've got better things to do.

Word. Mountain Biking's an expensive sport, you really need to love it.
