I'm in. But I need to buy a bike first! I'm leaning towards the Kona Coilair, Kona Dawg Supreme, or the Spec Enduro SL Expert.

depending on how hard of a rider you are, i'd go with the enduro... if you need a heavier duty bike than the coilair may do the job.

The Path Bike Shop Presents
8th Annual Bikes and Beers

What: An annual tradition of riding and socializing
When: Sunday May 20 at 8:30 am
Where: The Path Bike Shop parking lot

Rough agenda: Meet at 8:30 for "coffee." Rally in the parking lot ‘till around 9:30. Ride ends at The Tustin Brewery where we will hang out on the patio and they will give us a deal on beer and pizza.

Disclaimer: Mountain biking can be dangerous. The Path, its ownership, staff and affiliates are not responsible for you on this ride. This is a casual event. There will be no official ride leaders, or course marshals. The course is not marked, nor is it specific. There are many variations, and some people will do extra loops. If you do not know the area, ride with someone who does. If you need to be introduced to someone who knows the area, and/or who will be riding at your level, just let us know.

The general course: Exit the Path parking lot and make a right on B Street. Make a right on Irvine BLVD. Left on Tustin Ranch Road. Left on Pioneer Parkway. Follow the horse trails to the Peters Canyon South entrance. Through Peters Canyon. Up Jamboree to Santiago Oaks. Up the three hills known as um….you know, female dogs...down towards Irvine Park, and back to The Tustin Brewery.

Notes: It is recommended that you ride to this event, however if you are driving, it is a good idea to leave your car with a change of clothes in the parking lot of The Tustin Brewery before the ride.

The Path Bike Shop
215 West 1st Street

I wanted to extend a huge vote of appreciation and gratititude to all that participated in what was a successful Bikes-n-Beers this year. Thanks to OC Rider, SoCal Trail Riders, Sprockethead (for the beer stops), SHARE, The Warrior Society, OC Parks (and the ranger), HOSS Technical Gear, Fooriders and The Tustin Brewing Company and staff; you all helped to make this a great event and we all has loads of fun. We'll be sure to do this again next year!!

Thanks,
Mondo
