Santiago Oaks Regional Park will reopen more of its trails effective
Saturday, April 21, 2007. Once these trials reopen most of the park will be open to the public. However, all
single track trails will remain closed in the hills for evaluation, repair and re-vegetation.
The following trails will reopen:
- Oak Trail
- Peralta Hills Trail
- Anaheim Hills Trail
- Barham Ridge Trail
“Park staff is still working with volunteers from the mountain bike and equestrian communities to further improve all trails. Work will continue for quite some time,” said Parker Hancock, Director, HBP. “Trail signs are still being readied and placed in their proper locations. We feel the above mentioned multi-use trails can be opened at this time to meet the needs of the public. In addition, we still ask the community to respect the wilderness and stay out of the burned areas.”
