what no pics of the monster huck that caused that baby. Or was it when you tail slapped this wall

hmm, not discovered until Monday. smells a bit fishy. did Dillion smash into it while pulling truck into garage? or a conspiracy among boy and dad to get a new rig for pops.

you didn't feel any flex in bike while riding???

how much seat post insertion do you ride with? i've heard of trek/gf frames breaking and i can't see myself riding one of those ever.

That must have been from all those extreme bike stunts I was pulling on it in the Ramona car park - sorry dude!

Sometimes you get lucky with a fault like that because they give you a frame upgrade :-)

those breaks are on the seat tubes of the GF hardtails, not the issue here.

the issue here is that JD doesn't know is own brute force

I know a guy who is way to big for his bike which is a Trek. He has broken the frame six different times. They've always replaced it. Last time though, they told him they'd give him a full suspension, but no more "Y" bikes. They gave him a Fuel, which is a really nice bike, but he doesn't hardly ever ride it....what a shame.

The swingarm on my Fuel broke last week. I spoke to the shop owner where I bought it, emailed picks of the crack and the serial number to him, and two days later I got a call asking me what color I want them to paint my new swingarm. It should be in any day. It is coming from Waterloo.

Dood- That's sweet that they are covering it. I hope they respond faster than my 3 month wait for a Trek warrnaty frame replacement!

ARE YOU SURE THAT THE NEW PIMP SEAT DIDN'T PUT TOO MUCH SMACK DOWN ON THAT DOWN TUBE?

KHS also has a lifetime warranty. They replaced my frame twice and even upgraded me. A friend of mine had one too that broke, they offered to replace his soft tail with a full suspension for only $200.

think soft tail refers to bikes that have minimal sus in back...usually "embedded" in frame/rear triangle

Ride one. You'll know it's not full suspension.....
More like a compliant hardtail. I loved my steel one.

I've got the Dos Niner (soft tail). It's great! Has 1" of travel. The chain stay's flex, so it doesn't have an actual suspension linkage.

If there's any seatpost insertion, you're doing it wrong. Put the saddle back on.
