FYI Everybody, looks like the forest will be open and thus we are going to do the normal Santa Ana Mountain course for this ride. The particulars of the ride are here:

Toad Festival General Information

This year we are doing it for a good cause:

The Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation. The entry fee is $45.00. THIS is a fun ride (not a race... although it doesn't hurt to beat your mates in order to talk smack).

Come out and support a great cause and enjoy a really fun ride with contests all along the route and prizes afterwards.

See you somewhere on the course (I'll be working it)

I've always really enjoyed this ride and event. Even if I wasn't fast enough to get up there to get a rootbeer float. I did hear Andy say he'd already had four though, so you don't have to be fast, just be in front of Andy.

For a number of years i've wanted to do this ride, but injury or other commitments always makes it impossible. This year is no exception.

Hey PF, I'll make you a deal. If I am working the rootbeer float station, I won't have any ROOTBEER until after you pass by. OK?? I can't promise the same thing about real beers though.

Rumor has it that the Trail Angels are dressing up and restarting the "best dressed" contest. Andy, did you have a pair of sequined pants somewhere? I think STR should represent too

I had so much fun on Crash Maxwell's PushaKona why not do this on 35+ lb bikes? Who's in? Guero?

If you are bike challenged we can find some rocks for your Camelbak at the trailhead.

Just think how much more fun Trabuco would be

This is tempting craig, i may have to do a "pre ride" again to get some miles under my sack. Trabuco would be a blast, everything else will suck.
