Yeah, Sharky, do you know how much faster you'll be with some conditioning on the road? You don't want to be a wimpy shuttle monkey, do you?

Sharky, I would upgrade the fork to a 7" Marz 888 or 66 RC2x. They can probably find you a '06 somewhere if they don't have any at the shop. Have them upgrade the rear shock to a DHX 5.0. The drivetrain you can upgrade later as parts wear or they get bashed on rocks.

You Incycle Brats make F**F proud at the Woodridge race this weekend. Wish they had the Stinky at the shop.
(any more fork suggestions for the racing aspect?)
Don't be bringing that bud around, you shoud know better.

Did I really say Woodridge..see what that Bud does to ya!!
I saw a good price for an '06 66rc2x on craigslist. I know some of these are pricey but rather upgrade now than later. Jeesh that 888 would be nice... $$$
Thanks for the advice. Smoke 'em at woodward this weekend.

Shame on you Nam, the SL is the shit....feels just like a coil and has endless tuning possibilities.

Brandon,

Out of the two. Hands down Kona.
Go talk to INCYCLE and as part of the team see what they can do. There might even be more options??? Listen to the team leader JfromLV. HE is the wise all knowing one.

i only recommended that since the intended user may not be as bike savvy as you are and it could be a nightmare to setup right due to the endless tuning possibilities
