Default Another good reason to drink Fat Tire Ale...

from Outside Magazine "...did you know "green beer" isn't just for St. Patrick's Day? This spring New Belgium Brewery, whose Fort Collins Colorado Headquarters is a model of sustainability, will begin bottling MOTHERSHIP WIT, an all-organic wheat beer. And like all New Belgium favorites including FAT TIRE and Blue Paddle, it will be sold in recycled glass and shipped on biodiesel trucks." newbelgium.com

And for years now, New Beligum has been offsetting all their factory power in Colorado with wind energy credits. Their next step is riding over on bikes to my place to deliver the beer.

In addition to all that, after working for New Belgium for 2 years, employees get a free bike.

I have to admit though, I am partial to Stone Ruination.

The cold one in the fridge... When I see it I buy it.
It seems to be a limited batch. I bought it the first time 2 years ago, then bought some last year when it was available.
Do you mean I won't get it until July 7th?

I guess I will have to make some reserves. A Nobles-Stone trip in July MUST be organized.

I heard that at a tasting a couple of weeks ago and got to see the new 12oz bottle. I have mixed feelings about it. I kind of like being able to say to the wife "I'm just going to have one beer."

Like I needed any more reasons to drink.
I wonder if the CHP will understand that I was just trying to do my part to save the ecosystem. (drunk on a bike is still a DUI)

Get drunk, save the planet!!!

Ah yes the almighty Fat Tire. I used to fly to CO with an empty suitcase just for this stuff. I'm so glad we have it in CA now!

Shiat, thatt's nothing...

The mexicans have been peeing in bottles and shipping it north. They call it Corona.

Talk about recycling!
