yea so this kid fell at my local DH spot last weekend
he was unconscious all day at the hospital and i just followed up on it...
my buddy taht was with him said he's still out...
he said Salim is still in a induced Coma...
not good
well all we can do is hope he gets better and pray for him
hope he gets better soon so we can se him back out there =/

I'm praying for him. So young too I know it's gotta be tough on the family. Total time about an hour before they could get to him and fly him out from the hills. Hope he gets through this.

we are setting up a way to raise money for all teh bills and stuff... you knwo being in the hospital in a coma for a week is not cheap...
more info. on that will be up when i plan how im going to raise the money
im thinking flyers, mtb forums, and car wash
what do you guys think
any ideas on how to help raise money?

Thats so sad. DH is alot more dangerous than people realise. My best wishes for a speedy recovery - be careful out there peeps, we all feel indestructible at times but keep in mind the price we sometimes pay for doing what we love.

and im not understanding the pool. like only use half for the payout but keep some to give him?

It is based on a $100 per square....pay outs equal $9000 w/ $1000 going to charity..it can be adjusted to pay out less to the participants and more to charity....there are a lot of winners as there are so many rounds in the 64 team tournament...
