If I'm riding a 24" BMX bike, I'm not going to use suspension.
If I wanted to ride a bike with front suspension, I'm going to ride one with tires 2" larger in diameter (an Azonic Evolution set up as a 9-speed that has been to Orange several times). Of course, it's easy to say that since my singlespeed is fully rigid that it is a 26" BMX bike. |

Really though TK, all the bikes you listed off are amazing street/DJ machines, but very much not suited to the track. On the track you want something with a little longer wheelbase, especially in the chainstays, little more stretched out position, taller gearing, and mostly lighter. I suppose if you're just beating around, it wont matter. But to really get a good flow at the track, you'll want a race specific bike.
You can still get Cro-Mo "race" frames that will hold up to a bit more abuse. At the very least, get something with a 20.5 or 21 inch TT. |
