I have always lived that one like on the roads..... Up has right of way, easier for the guy coming down to stop and then continue on rather than the climber to stop and restart.

Mine was a pleasant experience, Was near the parking lot area, My wife was sitting at the lower rocks with the dog reading while I was riding, I was hiking back up for another run while someone was descending<uncommon to run into others on this trail> Was just curious if it was someone on the boards here

I ride the trail you are talking about on an xc bike, but didn't ride it today, so I doubt it was me.

Is this trail the one on the backside of Farside with the cool berms and that one spot where two boulders come together to form a little cave like structure?

I'm pretty sure he's complementing the guy on his riding.

And Yes!!! Dude was friggin hammering it out throught he rocks and all, I mean I blow into those rocks at haul ass speed, but I have eight inches of travel so Im not worried about hanging up a wheel and going over, I actually end up landing in the next turn.......Fun as hell.. He didnt land in the turn or clear the rocks, he plowed through like a mad man on short travel... It was impressive.

Older, I want to way mid fourties to early fifties

If he was on an older yellow/black Giant NRS (circa 2001), that would be ex-Team Dirty Worker Andrew Hart from Moreno Valley..........he has several 1st place trophies from Southridge in the XC Clydesdale category and he has also won several Super D races.......

He races Super D on the same yellow cross-country Giant NRS which has 80 mm of travel (basically not even 4 inches of travel).....

Saying you have 80mm sounds soooo much better than 3 inches.

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again--
There's nothing like having 7" in the front and in the rear
(Though that time we were talking about brakes...really, we were )
